Some Crazy, Some Amusing Comics by my very own students.

After we had read MY GREATEST AMBITION by Morris Lurie, I asked them to bring some comic strips that could reflect how they take their life and especially school life. Even though they took quite a time to submit their comics but they have mixed all the ingredients naturally fresh and fine in their expression. Fantastic and funny!
 Here goes the first one by Arfa Abbas:





Haiku Poetry Contest

  Well, that's something i surely enjoy but this time what amazed me the most is that all my students wrote quite good poems. They remain so busy in prose and writing that we hardly ever discuss poetry. Yet the poems were worth reading; i must admit.
   From each class (prep three t, c and s), three best haiku were selected.
     As an additional information, haiku is a Japanese kind of poetry in which there are three lines. It has 17 syllables and usually, it's subject is nature but anything worth talking about can fit in. So, here they are:

“With cute cheeks and eyes

And her skin as fair as dove

Is the girl I love.”
